Where’s Ely?

You most likely haven’t noticed that I haven’t posted anything here in about 2 months. I took off on vacation shortly after shipping Flex 2, and have managed to stay pretty far away from the internet ever since. But I’m back, and hope to be posting some more examples as soon as I shake the trail dust off.
In the intervening months I’ve noticed a few comments and emails about some of the examples missing necessary source or not being correctly updated to the final Player9/Flex2. Sorry about that. I expect to have them up to date in the next week or so.
In the meantime, please enjoy a free edition of Where’s Ely:

LayoutAnimator & LayoutTarget inconsistencies
Well,
I think, we’re all looking forward for those updates.
Nevertheless, here’s another issue:
while trying to use FishEye component and Randomwalk on the same app, I’ve noticed that both components have a couple of common classes.
However, the LayoutTarget and LayoutAnimator aren’t identical and overriding them with one of the two versions results in severe errors.
So while trying to organize my classes in an external library package (something like org.qs.controls) I had to keep both versions.
